rigaRiga Technical University, RTU in Latvia is the first technical university in the Baltic countries – its history dates back to 1862 when Riga Polytechnic was founded. Long lasting traditions, advanced teaching methods, new technologies and innovative approach provide the University with the opportunity to ensure research excellence and offer exciting full-time or part-time studies in RTU in Engineering Sciences, Technologies, Natural and Environmental Sciences as well as in Architecture and Engineering Economics. Cross-border Research Association has a research and education partnership with the RTU Institute of International Business and Customs, which forms a part of Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management, since the year 2012.

costa_ricaThe University of Costa Rica – Universidad de Costa Rica, UCR, in Spanish – is a public university in the Republic of Costa Rica, in Central America. Its main campus, Ciudad Universitaria Rodrigo Facio, is located in San Pedro Montes de Oca, in the province of San José. It is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious institution of higher learning in Costa Rica. It is also the most important research university in the country, and in Central America. Approximately 39,000 students attend UCR throughout the year. Since the year 2008, Cross-border Research Association has an informal research and education partnership with the Customs Administration and Foreign Trade Program of the UCR.

SCRMC_logoThe Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Consortium was established from MBA classroom work at Lehigh University. Since 2010, The Consortium has grown to include 15 companies providing a unique set of core competencies in the area of supply chain risk. Those competencies range from SCRM education and body-of-knowledge to risk identification and quantification, supply chain mapping, supply chain security, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Planning, fraud, bribery, corruption and counterfeit countermeasures. The Consortium continues to facilitate over 15 SCRM workshops around the globe utilizing new Cloud-based Risk Appetite and Supply Chain Risk Assessment Tools along with teaching SCRM at two US Universities, supporting APICS’ new SCRM Certificate and additional organizations in 2016, all supported by its new book, “Supply Chain Risk Management: An Emerging Discipline.”
